Effect of the application of Terra-Sorb® (Bioiberica) on fruit retention, development and quality in mango

Monday, 25 October 2010
Field Experience

In Certain species and varieties, as is the case of mango, the grade of fruit setting is an important factor affecting final crop production.

This parameter, basically regulated by the plant’s own genetics, can be negatively affected by external conditions and the nutritional state of the plan.

Amino acids play an important role in plant physiology, regulating several processes. Besides, they are essential in the pollen and the style for a correct pollination and fecundation.

Likewise, the application Terra-Sorb® increases nutrient absorption and translocation, contributing to the nutritional balance of the plant.

Another remarkable fact is that a positive effect from Terra-Sorb® has been observed on fuit development. A higer fruit retention can negatively affect their later development. A higer fruit retention can negatively affect their later development. However, the product has evidenced in numerous trails that a higher fruit retention does not have a repercussions on fruit size.

Evaluation of the effect of Incium® applications in lettuce transplantation in Chile

Monday, 25 October 2010
Field Experience | Horticultural | Inicium®
Inicium® is a low molecular weight peptide-based product with radicular activity that is especially beneficial at the onset of radicular activity and during transplantation. The most visible effects of Incium® are the development of a strong radicular system, which helps lettuce reach a sellable size faster.

The following is a trial on lettuce carried out the year (2004) in Chile, where these effects are confirmed.

Types of vegetal stress

Monday, 25 October 2010
Field Experience

Among them we can highlight those provoked by low temperatures (stress caused by cold or frost) or high temperatures (stress caused by heat stroke). Bellow or above a certain temperature depending on the case, plants suffer severe damage, limiting their functioning. Exposure to cold, paralyses enzymatic activities and induces a decrease in cellular membrane fluidity. Thus, water and nutrient transport through a cellular membranes is hinderes and the plant stops producing fluidity. Thus, water and nutrient transport thought cellular membranes is hindered and the plants stops producing. If the temperature drop is sudden and intense, the plant risks freezing, with the subsequent ice crystal formation inside cells, resulting in strong cellular dehydration.

Evaluation of the effect of Incium® applications in peach early varieties to enhance precocity and yield

Monday, 25 October 2010
Field Experience | Frut trees | Inicium®

Incium® is a low molecular weight peptide-based products with radicular activity. It is specially indicated at the onset of radicular activity and during transplantation. The most visible effects of Incium® are the development of a strong radicular apparatus, contributing to enhance crop precocity and production (early fruit crops).

Next we present a trial on peach trees conducted in Cieza (Murcia, Spain), Where these effects are confirmed.

Evaluation of effect of Inicium® applications in pepper transplantation (Murcia, Spain)

Monday, 25 October 2010
Field Experience | Horticultural | Inicium®

Inicium® is a low molecular weight peptide-based product with great radicular activity. It is specially indicated at the onset of radicular activity and during transplantation. The development of a strong radicular apparatus favours the advance of initial stages, enabling a prompter reach of the flowering, fruit set and production stages. Next we present a trial conducted on pepper in (Murcia, Spain), where these effects are confirmed.

Effect of Tierra-Sorb® And AminoQuelant-K application (Bioiberica) on production and fruit size in avocado

Friday, 22 October 2010
Field Experience

Avocado is a very important crop wordwide, wich adapts to very diferente edaphic and climatic conditions.

The characteristics of this crop, spcecially it’s great vigos, it’s slow production start and the adverse factors to wich flowering and fruit setting are subject to, entail a high production variability.

Thus, crop management is very important un order to ensure a targer harvest. This trial has evaluated the application of Terra-Sorb®Marco radicular (application throught drip irrigation) and AminoQuelant®-K (foliar application)to determine whether they can be helpful to increase production in this crop.
