September 2013
Scientific articles | Armurox®

The aim of the present work was to evaluate the efficiency of the new technology Armurox ® and its contribution as bioavailable Silicon in sugar cane. Two trials in commercial areas were conducted in two locations: Ameca and Autlan in the Jalisco region (Mexico). Two foliar applications of Armurox were sprayed during tillering phase, between 30-40 days. According to the results achieved Silicon levels were corrected successfully in both localities. First foliar application was sprayed 30 da...

The objective of the present study consisted of determining the effectiveness of the product Armurox® of BIOIBERICA S.A. in the control of powdery mildew and to evaluate its paper as possible inducer of defenses in plants, using for it the melon-powdery mildew model patho-system. The treatment with Armurox® is able to control the disease through the activation of mechanisms of defense like the reinforcing of cellular walls, the production of reactive oxygen species and the increase in the ...

Powdery mildew protection with Armurox: an improved strategy for silicon application

December 2011
Scientific articles | Armurox®

Powdery mildew diseases cause severe losses in a wide variety of crop plants, for which no polyvalent fungicide measuresare available for every disease situation. In addition, alternative treatments for plant disease protection have recently raised moreinterest due to restrictions and environmental concerns regarding the use of pesticides worldwide. This study was aimed at verify anew technology for integrated disease management strategies to protect crops against pathogenic fungi. Armurox®...

Silicon (Si) has proven effective in controlling both soilborne and foliar fungal diseases in several crops. This study aimed to determine the efficiency of the product Armúrox (Bioibérica, S.A.), a formulation of peptide compounds with Si (PC+Si) to reduce the intensity of rice leaf blast. The spray of PC+Si showed great potential to reduce blast intensity as compared to non-sprayed plants.
