The inefficient application of synthetic nitrogen (N) fertilizers has led to significant environmental pollution. Biostimulants offer a promising approach to mitigate issues related to N fertilization. This study aims to evaluate the impact of two biostimulants—a prebiotic and a probiotic—in compensating for deficient N fertilization. Specifically, we examined Terramin® Pro, based on L-α-amino acids and other biomolecules, and Terra Sorb® Symbiotic, combining L-α-amino acids and the strain Bacillus velezensis PH-023, on lettuce and pepper plants.
