Bioiberica Plant Health takes part in GLOBALG.A.P. TOUR Costa Rica 2025
Bioiberica Plant Health recently participated in the GLOBALG.A.P. TOUR Costa Rica 2025, an international event that brought together key stakeholders from across the agricultural value chain to discuss the challenges and opportunities of sustainable production.
During the event, Josep Mª Cerdà, CamCar Export Manager at Bioiberica Plant Health, delivered the presentation “Plant Bionutrition as a Tool for Sustainable Agriculture”. In his talk, he highlighted some of the sector’s main challenges: on the one hand, producers seeking higher productivity; and on the other, consumers increasingly demanding produce with fewer residues.
Against this backdrop, Bioiberica Plant Health reaffirms its commitment to a more efficient, competitive, and environmentally respectful agriculture. Our strategy focuses on optimising crop performance with a lower chemical footprint, helping to reduce fungicide resistance through the application of biostimulants such as Terra-Sorb®.
Costa Rica, together with other countries in Central America and the Caribbean, faces significant challenges in terms of agricultural sustainability, particularly in export crops such as banana, pineapple, mango, and coffee. The implementation of innovative bionutrition solutions will be key to advancing towards a more responsible production model aligned with global market demands.
Through initiatives like this, Bioiberica Plant Health remains committed to providing effective solutions and sustainable strategies that boost farmers’ productivity and contribute to a more balanced, environmentally friendly agricultural future.
