Experience of using Terra-Sorb® granum in field crops in the USA
Field crop production in the United States—particularly soybean and corn—operates under highly optimized agronomic systems that integrate advanced genetics, precise nutrient management, and efficient farming practices. These systems regularly deliver high yield potential; however, climatic stresses such as heat and water limitation remain major constraints, often resulting in significant yield and economic losses during sensitive growth stages.
Biostimulants like Terra‑Sorb® granum, specifically formulated for field crops, offer an additional tool not only to help mitigate the impact of abiotic stress but also to enhance nutrient uptake—particularly nitrogen—and provide targeted nutritional support required by these high‑demand crops.
To evaluate its effectiveness under real production conditions, the performance of Terra‑Sorb® granum was assessed across three locations in Indiana and Ohio on the two main regional crops: soybean and corn.
The results of these field trials are presented below.
Terra‑Sorb® granum was applied to soybean at three different locations (Greensburg, Circleville, and Sardinia) at the beginning pod stage (BBCH R3) at a rate of 1 L/ha showing significative yield production increases in the three of them.

On average across the three trial locations, Terra‑Sorb® granum achieves an average increase of +10% in soybean yield (+426 kg/ha), representing a return on investment (ROI) of 5.

Terra‑Sorb® granum was applied to corn at three different locations (Greensburg, Circleville, and Sardinia) at five- to seven-leaf stage (BBCH V5-V7) at a rate of 1 L/ha showing significative yield production increases in the three of them.

On average across the three trial locations, Terra‑Sorb® granum achieves an average increase of +13% in corn yield (+1,388 kg/ha), representing a return on investment (ROI) of 7.

Across both soybean and corn, the field trials conducted in Indiana and Ohio show that Terra‑Sorb® granum consistently enhances crop performance under real U.S. production conditions. By improving tolerance to abiotic stress and enhancing nutrient assimilation—particularly nitrogen—while supplying crop‑specific nutrition, Terra‑Sorb® granum helped both crops express higher yield potential. These results confirm its role as an effective agronomic tool to strengthen crop resilience and maximize productivity within highly optimized U.S. row‑crop systems.
